Regardless of what you transport, in medium long-distance transport the Axor offers the best conditions to do it with particular cost-effectiveness. The Axor delivers savings in terms of net weight and fuel consumption, for example. This is evidenced by its weight-optimised frame and its low net weight, durable, economical 6-cylinder in-line engines, with which you profitably comply with Euro V emissions standards, and maintenance intervals of between 100,000 km and 120,000 km*. The Axor is also optionally available with the even stricter EEV** emissions standards. Another important factor in the high profitability is the Telligent® engine system, that ensures extremely efficient combustion, and lowers fuel consumption and emissions.
But that is by no means all that contributes to low costs. Optionally the Axor is also available with Mercedes PowerShift*** and three available 'Economy Packs', which further boost profitability. By the way, the characteristics of the Mercedes PowerShift automated transmission reinforce everything the Axor stands for: excellent handling, driving dynamics, low fuel consumption and of course a high payload.
The particularly long powertrain warranty, low maintenance and repair costs, the very long service life and the expected high resale value are additional advantages you can bank on. Inexpensive service contracts and other services such as FleetBoard® and Mercedes-Benz Eco driver training also offer savings potential. Consequently, the Axor fulfils the essential prerequisites to operate profitably in medium long-distance transport.
