The drive system for the permanent 4MATIC all-wheel drive in the GLK is one of the most powerful all-wheel drive systems deployed by Mercedes-Benz. Power and torque are distributed as required at all times to the four wheels, whether on or off-road. This provides additional traction and directional stability, which in turn improves both responsiveness and handling safety.

  • Assured handling: ensured by the intelligent interplay between the ESP® Electronic Stability Program, ASR acceleration skid controland the 4ETS Electronic Traction System.
  • Optimum power distribution: anywhere you go, all-wheel drive distributes force to all 4 wheels to increase traction.
